DGPH - The Ark Project

The Argentinan artist duo DGPH invited Sauerkids to contribute to "The Ark Project".

 

The idea behind the project is to generate an animal bible showing the different species around the globe with artist from each corner of the planet. The book wil be published by IDN

Hi-Fructose Magazine

Attaboy, editor of the art magazine Hi-Fructose, asked us if he could use our illustration Extreme makeover to be printed on the inside cover of the new issue as a sort of "Great Recession Protection Mask": cut out eyeholes and put it on your face and you will be protected against the Great Recession!

Mail Me Art book & expo

Sauerkids contributed to the exhibition & book "Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers". Mail Me Art is a collection of artistic work that artists across the globe sent as mail over a period of one year. In the book you can find an interview with Sauerkids as well.

Our favorite smoking pal Lorenzo was exhibited in the Design Warriors Contemporary Character Art project at the Butter Factory, a nightspot in Singapore dedicated to the promotion of design, art and street culture.

Schielandhuis Museum

As part of Rotterdam being the European Youth Capital 2009, the Schielandhuis Museum, organised in close conjunction with Shoparound an Exhibition called "Young 2009". 9 artists were connected to 9 young rolemodels in the field of sports, music, politics, dance etc. Sauerkids was connected to a Rapper/Actor/Grafitti Artist called Riske de Rat.

Riskes main aim is to get famous as soon as possible. So we designed him a statue in advance. The statue was build by our house carpenter Marlies Krabman.
